A sheltered spot for those not willing to tackle la Nord on big days. Favours lefts and gives beginner/improvers somewhere to surf away from the rippers. Easy and never too big, but turns into an unsurfable shorebreak on high tide.

Water quality is dubious, being so close to the rivermouth. Park on Blvd De La Grand Dune south of the Front de Mer roundabout.
